Anthony Mugambi is an Agricultural Value Chains Development and Market Access Specialist with over 13 years’ experience working with the private, public and civil society sectors across East Africa. Anthony has a passion for market-led initiatives geared at structured and inclusive agricultural trading systems.

Anthony has also led national and regional projects implemented by Kilimo Trust focused on apiculture , dairy, high value crops (horticulture and coffee), food staples (e.g. rice, beans, Irish potatoes, cassava, sorghum, green-grams) and oil crops such as groundnuts, soybeans and sunflower. He has been with Kilimo Trust since 2012 and is currently leading a regional project on regenerative rice value chain in Kenya and Uganda.

He is a Global GAP and Kenya GAP standards compliance auditor, holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Production Value Chains Management as well as a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Horticulture.
