Kilimo Trust (KT) invites qualified companies to submit Expressions of Interest for the supply of fish post-harvest handling and value addition equipment under the WYEEFIMA programme in Kenya.
About the Programme
WYEEFIMA is a five-year initiative led by TradeMark Africa, in partnership with the African Union’s AfCFTA and funded by the Mastercard Foundation. The programme aims to create employment opportunities and improve incomes for women and youth through inclusive participation in fisheries value chains and cross-border trade.
Supply Scope (Equipment Lots)
Applicants may bid for one or more of the following:
- Lot 1: Deep frying kits (energy-saving stoves, pans, accessories)
- Lot 2: Fish smoking equipment (smoking kilns, drying racks, accessories)
- Lot 3: Sun-dried and salted fish equipment (brining tubs, drying racks)
- Lot 4: Cold chain equipment (solar freezers, ice boxes, ice-making machines)
- Lot 5: Fish milling and packaging equipment
Eligibility Requirements
Interested companies must submit:
- Expression of Interest letter
- Company registration documents (BRS)
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (KRA)
- At least 3 references for similar supply work (last 5 years)
- Equipment specifications and unit costs for selected lot(s)
