At this year’s Rwanda National Agriculture Show, held from 18th to 27th June 2025 at Mulindi Expo Grounds, Kilimo Trust showcased highly innovative agricultural technologies that continue to revolutionize agriculture.
Under the Kungahara project, funded by the EU, the charcoal cooler and zero-energy onion dryer drew attention for being affordable, locally made, and highly effective.
The ISEC project, funded by AGRA, highlighted pest and disease management solutions that equip youth in Kayonza, Rwamagana, and Huye Districts with skills for agribusiness.
Farmers and sector players were impressed by these practical innovations, which improve post-harvest handling, boost productivity, and create employment opportunities in agriculture.
