TVET and her group of determined women have turned their passion for baking into a flourishing business that’s changing lives in their community.
With training and mentorship from Kilimo Trust, the group learned how to improve their recipes, maintain hygiene standards, and manage their operations like professionals.
Starting from a simple village kitchen, they now produce a variety of baked goods—cakes, bread, cookies, and snacks—that are sold in local markets, schools, and shops. Their earnings have helped members support their families, send their children to school, and invest in better baking equipment. TVET’s leadership has united the group around a shared vision of empowerment and entrepreneurship, showing how skills development and teamwork can turn a small idea into a recipe for success.
