Project Goal: To increase incomes of 50000 maize farmers by atleast 30% through enhanced farm productivity.
Specific Objectives:
- To increase awareness of DeKalb Maize seed among Uganda smallholder farmers
- To establish sustainable business linkages between Bayer distributors and the agro-dealers’ network
- To showcase and document performance of the promoted technologies in the the different regions.
Proposed Project Intervention
The project seeks to increase the uptake of DeKalb maize varieties (DK 777 and DKC 90-89) and crop protection products Auxo and Belt among smallholder farming communities in Uganda.
