Using “the glass is half full” approach, the IFAD funded Regional East African Community Trade in Staples (REACTS) Project chose to create awareness on requirements and procedures for cross-border trade in the EAC, COMESA and SADC trading blocks. The REACTS Project has been working with key partners to help a critical mass of actors to understands and take full advantage of opportunities to access regional markets.
This info pack will therefore be useful to traders, organised farmers who want to engage in cross-border trade, ministries and agencies that support cross-border trade and other relevant stakeholders.
