The Rural Youth Employment Support (R-YES) Project bootcamp, organized by Kilimo Trust, has provided invaluable support to youth-led start-ups in agribusiness. This initiative aimed to equip young entrepreneurs with essential skills in financial management, standards, and branding, all designed to boost the efficiency and growth of their businesses.
The 4-day bootcamp, facilitated by Daniel Tuzanesha, Program Officer in charge of Agribusiness Enterprise Development at Kilimo Trust, brought together 36 youth entrepreneurs from previous R-YES cohorts. The program not only focused on enhancing their business operations but also connected them to critical government programs and resources that are key to their long-term success and growth.
