Kilimo Trust (KT) is an independent Regional agricultural development organization working on agriculture for development across the EAC Region. It is registered in the Republic of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda, and it implements projects across all EAC Partner States. The core business of KT is to structure national and regional trade in agricultural products for enhanced wealth, food, and nutrition security for smallholder farmers and other Value Chain actors
Kilimo Trust Rwanda has been implementing the Good Food for Cities (GFC) program in Rubavu District since July 2022. It is a three-year initiative (2022-2025) implemented with funding from the Belgium Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) through Rikolto SON. The GFC project aimed to increase the production and commercialization of healthy and nutritious food produced using regenerative and other sustainable production practices.
The GOAL of the GFC’s project was to contribute 20% increase in incomes and job creation for 2,000 smallholder producers of healthy, sustainable, and nutritious (HSN) foods in Rubavu District
This EoI is soliciting applications from individuals or a team of consultants to conduct an endline evaluation and produce an endline and completion report for the GFC Project.
The overall objective of the study is to conduct an endline evaluation and produce an endline and completion report for the GFC Project.
