Kilimo Trust Tanzania invites suitably qualified and locally registered companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the supply and delivery of Fish Post-Harvest Handling & Value Addition Processing Equipment under the WYEEFIMA Project.
The project, implemented by Kilimo Trust in partnership with the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), TradeMark Africa, Lattice Aquaculture and MicroSave Consulting, with funding from the Mastercard Foundation, aims to enhance cross-border trade in fish and fish products by women and youth in Tanzania.
Lots Available
Bidders may apply for one, several, or all four Lots:
- Lot 1: Fish Frying & Smoking Equipment
- Lot 2: Fish Handling, Storage & Sanitation Infrastructure
- Lot 3: Fish Processing & Packaging Machinery
- Lot 4: Seaweed Processing Equipment
Equipment and infrastructure will be supplied/installed across Mwanza, Kagera, Mtwara, Lindi, Mara, Tanga, Kigoma and Zanzibar, depending on the Lot.
Important: Bidders applying for a Lot must quote for all items within that Lot. Partial bids for individual items within a Lot will not be considered. Lot 2 additionally requires demonstrated capacity for basic civil works and installation.
Required Documents
Interested companies are required to submit:
- Expression of Interest letter
- Company registration documents
- Valid business/trading licence
- TRA Tax Clearance/TIN documentation
- At least three references/recommendations for similar work completed within the last five years
- Company profile
- Financial proposal, including transportation and installation costs
- Additional civil works capacity documentation for Lot 2 applicants
Submission Deadline
Friday, 18 September 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Applications should be submitted as one complete package via email to procurement@kilimotrust.org, clearly indicating the Lot(s) being applied for.
