Kilimo Trust Uganda invites quotations from suitably qualified and locally registered companies for the supply, delivery, installation and, where applicable, construction of Fish Post-Harvest Handling and Value-Addition Processing Equipment under the Women and Youth Economic Empowerment in Fisheries through Inclusive Market Access (WYEEFIMA) Programme.
The programme, implemented in partnership with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, TradeMark Africa, Lattice Aquaculture and MicroSave Consulting, with funding from the Mastercard Foundation, seeks to enhance cross-border trade in fish and fish products by women and youth and strengthen their participation in inclusive and sustainable fisheries value chains.
Lots Available
The required equipment is organized into five lots:
- Lot 1: Fish Processing Equipment
- Lot 2: Fish Handling and Preparation Equipment
- Lot 3: Food Hygiene, PPE and Sanitation Supplies
- Lot 4: Cold Chain and Fish Preservation Equipment
- Lot 5: Fish Packaging and Market-Readiness Equipment
Bidders may apply for one, several, or all five lots. Applicants must quote for all items within each Lot applied for; partial bids within a Lot will not be considered.
Key Requirements
Interested suppliers should submit:
- Certificate of incorporation/registration
- Valid trading/business licence
- TIN and tax clearance
- Detailed financial quotation and quotation validity
- Unit and total prices
- Applicable taxes
- Delivery and transportation costs
- Payment terms
Suppliers must also comply with Kilimo Trust's safeguarding, ethical conduct, anti-fraud, anti-corruption and conflict-of-interest requirements.
